Lt Gen Sandhu takes over as Jambheshwar Univ VC

Hisar, June 9 (UNI) Lt Gen (retd) Devender Dayal Singh Sandhu tonday assumed office as Vice-Chancellor of Guru Jambheshwar Science and Technology University.

Lt Gen Sandhu had held various important offices during the last 40 years of his stint in the Army. Before assuming the charge of Vice-Chancellor of the University, he was working as a Director General, Ordinance Service.

He is an able administrator and teacher as well and has worked as Principal, College of Material Management Rani Durgawati University, Jabalpur.
