Srinagar, Jun 9 (UNI) In view of the strike by transporters, the Jammu and Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation (J&K SRTC) has decided to provide adequate transport facilities to vegetables growers of the valley.

The decision to this effect was taken at a meeting held here today under the chairmanship of Minister for Agriculture Abdul Aziz Zargar.

The vegetable growers have also been asked to contact Director Agriculture Kashmir and General Manager SRTC for arranging trucks.

The transporters in the Kashmir valley are on four-day chaka jam from today in support of their demands.
