Illicit timber seized in Kashmir

Srinagar, Jun 9 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police seized a large quantity of illicit timber in north Kashmir, official sources said today.

They said police acting on a tip off, conducted raid in the house of one Ghulam Mohammad Thoker at Dardpora Kunzar in Baramulla district and recovered illicit timber.

A case has been registered, they said, adding that drive against timber smugglers in the district will continue.
