IGNOU launches e-GyanKosh

New Delhi, Jun 9 (UNI) IGNOU today launched e-GyanKosh, online programmes and website facility for Gyandarshan through teleconference.

Vice Chancellor Prof V N Rajashekhar Pillai launched the programmes and the website facility for Gyandarshan, Edusat and Gyan Vani at the Electronic Media Production Centre.

E-GyanKosh is an effort towards developing national digital repository of learning resources.

The repository contains the self-instructional print material of all the programmes of IGNOU, as well as the video programmes developed to supplement them. It has been thrown open to the public.

The University is launching two online programmes, Masters in Library and Information Science and Post Graduate certificate in Cyber Law, based on the learning management system developed in-house.
