Four people including a young girl injured in roof collapse
Mangalore, June 9 (UNI) Four people, including a teen aged girl, were injured when tiled roof of their house collapsed due to heavy rain accompanied with gusty winds in the early hours of today at Pavoor Ulliya Isle near Ullal on the outskirts of the city.
According to official sources the victims were asleep when the mishap took place.
Meanwhile, the rain continued to lash in the undivided district of Daxina Kannada. Kundapura in Udupi district recorded highest rainfall of 10 cms till 0800 hrs today followed by 8 cms in Udupi and 3 cms in Karkala.
