Indian Envoy Rakesh Sood Meets Prachanda

Kathmandu, June 9 : India's Ambassador to Nepal, Rakesh Sood met Communist Party of Nepal-Maoist (CPN-M) Chairman Prachanda today to discuss the unfolding political development in Nepal.

According to Nepalnews, Sood met Prachanda at his residence in Nayabazaar. Formation of new government, election of first President and power sharing among the political parties were the major issues discussed during the meeting.The parties are likely to reach a consensus on formation of new government and election of President for which the tri-party taskforce has begun working.
