Eight principals arrested in fradulent payment case
Patna, June 9 (UNI) Bihar vigilance bureau today arrested 14 people, including eight principals, in connection with a fradulent payment case.
Addditional Director General of State Vigilance Bureau Neelmani said here that during investigation, principals and teachers were found guilty of making fradulent payments to the tune of lakhs of rupees to examiners and committing other irregularities in Madhyama examination conducted by the Sanskrit Siksha Board in 2007.
'' More than 2.31 private students were allowed to appear in the examination violating rules by the principals, teachers in connivance with officials of the Sanskrit Siksha Board and they recived cash from the examiness illegally,'' he said, adding, all the arrested were being interrogated.
