Divis Lab net profit dips 6.54% for Q4 FY2007-08

New Delhi, June 9 (UNI) Divis Laboratories Ltd today said its net profit decreased 6.54 per cent to Rs 94.37 crore for the quarter ended March 2008 as compared to Rs 100.98 crore for same period in the previous fiscal.

However, the company's total income increased 10.35 per cent to Rs 282.51 crore from Rs 255.99 crore in the said period.

For fiscal 2007-08, the company has posted a net profit of Rs 353.56 crore as compared to Rs 191.74 in the last financial year, a jump of 84.39 per cent.

Total income has zoomed 41.83 per cent to Rs 1,046.80 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008 from Rs 738.03 crore for the last fiscal.

The group has posted a net profit of Rs 92.68 crore for the quarter ended March 2008 as compared to Rs 98.93 crore for the same quarter previous year, a dip of 6.31 per cent.

The consolidated total income jumped 10.43 per cent to Rs 282.71 crore from Rs 256.00 crore for the Q4 2006-07.

The Group has posted a net profit of Rs 347.60 crore for the year ended March 2008 as compared to Rs 185.86 crore for FY07, a jump of 87.02 per cent.

Total income has increased 41.81 per cent to Rs 1,046.62 crore for the year ended March from Rs 738.01 crore for last fiscal year.
