'Dancing in the Rain' remix makes Rihanna's umbrella 'Take A Bow'

London, June 9 : 'The Singing In The Rain' remix used by George Sampson for his winning performance on 'Britain's Got Talent,' has topped the UK singles chart.

Best known as the title track in Gene Kelly's 1952 film, the song was reworked by Manchester dance act Mint Royale, reports BBC.

The new version of the classic song knocked R and B singer Rihanna's 'Take A Bow' off the top spot, with The Ting Tings' 'That's Not My Name' landing at the third spot.

At number four was Duffy's 'Warwick Avenue' and rounding off the off the top five was Ne-Yo's 'Closer.'
