Mumbai, Jun 9 (UNI) Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation today decided to do night patrolling all over the city, in the areas that are affected by heavy rains and flooding.
Taking the decision at the standing committee meeting, Chairman Ravindra Waikar said many areas are getting badly affected at nights, due to non-availability of officials at that time.

''The funds for the same will be disbursed immediately,'' he said.
Mr Waikar also announced a fund of Rs 3 lakh and job at the fire brigade office to a member of the family of 37-year-old Jayant Mohite, working in Mumbai fire bridgade office , who died yesterday while trying to rescue people.
