Axis PE to invest Rs 142 cr in two infrastructure firms
Mumbai, Jun 9 (UNI) Axis Private Equity Ltd, a private equity fund management wing of Axis Bank, today announced to invest about Rs 142 crore (USD 36 mn) in two infrastructure development firms.
The firm would invest Rs 75 crore and Rs 67 crore in Neesa Leisure Ltd (NLL) and Crrtech International Private Ltd (CIPL), respectively, the firm said in a statement.
Commenting on the development, Axis PE Managing Director and CEO Alok Gupta said both the investments were targeted at high growth potential sectors.
The firm is committed to invest in companies involved in infrastructure development including hospitality, railways, development of oil and gas pipelines, water supply and sanitation, and this was a part of our investment strategy, he added.
