Another cloudy day, mercury drops to 35.2 degrees C
New Delhi, June 9 (UNI) Giving some respite from the hot weather, clouds hovered on the city skyline today leading to a drop in mercury to 35.2 degrees Celsius.
The cloud cover together with South Easterly wind led to a drop in maximum temperature, from 36 degree yesterday, to 35.2 degrees, five degrees below normal.
The minimum was also recorded one degree below normal at 26.6 degrees. The temperature is likely to stay below normal in the coming days too with weatherman forecasting a maximum temperature of 35 degrees tomorrow.
The Met office has forecast a partly cloudy sky in the Capital during the next 24 hours with possibility of rain and thundershowers in a few areas.
