57.89 pc pass in MPBSE high school exam
Bhopal, Jun 9 (UNI) A total of 57.89 per cent regular aspirants have passed the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education's high school certificate exam, results for which were announced today.
Of 5,54,159 regular students, who appeared in this year's examination, results of 5,51,622 students were announced.
Of them, 1,52,294 obtained first division, 1,45,762 secured second division and 21,304 got third division, while 75,645 students would appear for supplementary exams.
Results of 1,207 candidates have been cancelled, while results of 1,330 had been stopped.
A total of 60.58 per cent girls have passed, while the pass percentage of boys was 56.20 per cent.
Meanwhile, a total of 25.07 per cent private aspirants have passed the MPBSE high school certificate exam.
Of 1,19,354 private students who appeared in this year's examination, results of 1,18,003 students were announced.
Of them, 3,644 obtained first division, 19,179 secured second division and 6,771 got third division, while 19,860 students would appear for supplementary exams.
Results of 921 candidates had been cancelled, while results of 430 had been stopped.
A total of 26.28 per cent girls have passed, while the pass percentage of boys was 24.45 per cent.
A temporary merit list was prepared. Mark sheet would be sent to institutions concerned by the third week of this month.
Supplementary exams would be held on July 15. Students concerned would not be required to fill forms separately this time.
