4 hurt in roof collapse
Mangalore, Jun 9 (UNI) Four people, including a teenaged girl, were injured when the tiled roof of their house collapsed due to heavy rain accompanied by gusty winds in the early hours of today at Pavoor Ulliya Isle near Ullal on the outskirts of the city.
According to official sources, the victims were asleep when the mishap took place.
Meanwhile, rainfall continued to lash the undivided district of Dakshina Kannada.
Kundapura in Udupi District recorded the highest rainfall of ten cm till 0800 hrs today followed by eight cm in Udupi and three cm in Karkala.
