3 dead due to heavy rainfall
Mumbai, Jun 9 (UNI) Three people died in the city and suburbs due to rain related incidents since Friday night.
Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) sources informed here today that one person was killed at MIDC Andheri, another died near J J flyover bridge and the third in Dadar, died due to wall collapse.
The Meteorological Department have forecast rain or thundershowers with heavy to very heavy rainfalls and strong gusty winds in parts of city and suburbs.
During the last 24 hours, the Met department has recorded 92.2 mm rainfall at Colaba and Santacruz have recorded 85.8 mm rainfall.
During the present season, Colaba have recorded 207.6 mm and Santacruz 274.3 mm rainfall.
The city recorded minimum temperature of 25.1 degree Celsius and maximum was 27.5 degree Celsius, the Department said.
Central and Western Railway trains were running on time, as informed by Railway Control Room.
