25 vehicles set on fire by naxals

Jagdalpur, June 9 (UNI) More than 25 vehicles belonging to the Essar company were set on fire tonight by Naxals near Bailadila in this district, police said today.

The company has deployed vehicles and equipment for mining iron ore near Baildila. Naxals reached the place and set them on fire.

Police have lost telephonic communication with the spot. So, company officials could not be contacted.

Police were making efforts to reach the spot despite obstruction put in place by naxal. No loss of life was reported.
