'Woman on Top' lifts the Chief Minister Cup

Bangalore, June 8 (UNI) Second favourite V Loknath ward 'Woman on Top', brilliantly ridden by Suraj Naredu with better timing 1:12.98 Secs (earlier timing was 1:13.17 secs in 2004), lifted the Chief Minister Cup, the main event of the Summer Meet held here today.

The winner was joint property of Mr Shiven Sudrenath representing Band Racing Private Limited and M/s Sanjeev Jocob, Ramesh Seksaria and Marthand Singh Mahendra.

Trainer S Ganapathy scored a treble, while Jockey Y S Sreenath and Suraj Naredu scored a brace each.

Three favourites obliged in a card of 10 events.
