Two killed, 15 injured in Kashmir accident
Srinagar, June 8 (UNI) Two people were killed and 15 others wounded in overnight accidents in the Kashmir valley, official sources said today.
They said a vehicle hit and injured a minor girl Iqra Mushtaq at Anantnag. She was immediately rushed to hospital where she was declared brought dead.
A scooterist Ghulam Ahmad Shah was injured critically in a road accident in civil lines here. He was admitted to hospital where he died.
At least 13 passengers were injured when a vehicle in which they were traveling was hit by an Army vehicle at Vidpora, Handwara in the frontier district of Kupwara. The injured were hospitalised.
They said Municipal Councilor Khazan Aziz and another person were injured when a vehicle hit her at Hyderpora chowk The injured were admitted to neary Bone and Joint hospital at Barzulla.
Four hosues and other structures were gutted in the Nowhatta area of downtown. The cause of the fire was now known, they said.
