Three people killed in a road mishap

Mysore, June 8 (UNI) Three people were killed on the spot and nine others injured in a headon collision between lorry and Maruti van near Doddakoppal in K R Nagara Taluk in the District last night.

Police said today that the lorry, loaded with paddy, was coming to K R Nagara from Holenarasipura in Hassan District while the van was coming in the opposite direction to Mysore when the mishap occurred.

The victims were identified as Kalandar (40) and Ravi (30), both cleaners of lorry and Van Driver Prabhakar (28).

The injured, including lorry driver, had been admitted to K R Hospital here.
