Radio Kashmir to start FM news headlines on hourly basis soon

Srinagar, Jun 8 (UNI) The Radio Kashmir, Srinagar, will soon start FM news headlines on hourly basis.

This was announced by Dr P K Bandhopadyaya, Director General (News) All India Radio, yesterday while addressing a three-day workshop of Prasar Bharti part time correspondents.

He said all measures were being taken so that aspirations of the people were reflected through news bulletins.

Mr Bandhopadyaya, further said broadcast of a five-minute supplementary news bulletin and district news letter from Radio Kashmir was under consideration.

News heads of All India Radio, Srinagar, Jammu and Leh as well as 22 part time district correspondents were attending the workshop.
