PSEB seeks subsidy amount from Punjab Govt
Patiala, Jun 8 (UNI) Punjab State Electricity Board )PSEB) has requested the Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission (PSERC) to direct the state Government to pay the subsidy amount for free power to the farm sector in time and in cash.
During its hearing with PSERC regarding Annual Revenue Requirement (ARR), PSEB has sought an advance payment of Rs 2294.9 crore on account of giving free power to agriculture sector as per norms. The subsidy is required to be paid in advance every quarter.
