One killed, 7 injured in road accident

Sindhudurg, Maharashtra, Jun 8 (UNI) A 60-year-old man was killed and seven others injured when their vehicle turned turtle after hitting a roadside tree near Kankavali on Mumbai-Goa National Highway today.

The occupants of the vehicle were on the way to Kankavali from Sangli district, police said.

The deceased was identified as Raghunath Dadu Koli, a resident of Asta in Walava tehsil of Sangli district.

The injured have been admitted to a hospital, sources added.
