MNS activists attack health centre in Nashik
Nashik, Jun 8 (UNI) A group of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) activists today went on the rampage, directing their ire against a health centre here.
According to police sources, some 20-25 MNS activists attacked Padmini Ayurvedic Healing Centre in Prasanna bungalow in Vinaynagar area of the city as it was allegedly functioning as a massage parlour and carrying out other illegal activities.
The activists damaged the furniture inside the parlour and also pelted stones.
Residents of the area had complained to the police about the parlour.
Meanwhile, Ambad police have arrested four women -- Rajeshwari Ambedkar (19), Veena Avhad (18), Neeta Shinde (24) and Jyotsna Dabhade (26), all residents of Vinaynagar.
A case has been registered under section 79 of the Mumbai Police Act in this regard and further investigations are on, sources added.
