Militants attacked cable operators house in Kashmir

Srinagar, June 8 (UNI) Militants attacked the house of a cable operator and also hurled a hand grenade in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said today.

They said the militants hurled a hand grenade towards the house of a cable operator Manzoor Ahmad War at Warpora, Sopore, in Baramulla district. However, it missed the intended target and exploded on the roadside without causing any damage.

The grenade attack on cable operator came a day after a similar attack was made on Airtel mobile tower causing damage to it.

They said militants also hurled a hand grenade at Chankhan Sopore which exploded near Sumji building without causing any harm.
