Man takes wife's eye vision

Gonda, June 8 (UNI) A woman lost vision of an eye after her husband attacked her with a sharp-edged weapon doubting her fidelity in Itiyathok area here this morning.

Rikshaw-puller Ganga Ram returned to his house at village Parasrai from Lucknow last night and had a heated exchange of words with Vidyawati (35), police said.

However, this morning, he attacked upon his wife with a sharp weapon and she lost an eye.

Ganga Ram is now absconding.

Meanwhile, police had registered a case against him on the complaint of his daughter and launched a hunt to nab him.
