Five labourers die in wall collapse near Panaji

Panaji, June 8 : Five labourers were killed and six others seriously injured after the wall of an under construction hotel building collapsed on Sunday morning in Porvorim near Panaji.

Heavy rains in Porvorim area led to the collapse. The labourers were sleeping in a shed built next to the wall at the time of the incident.

The injured were admitted to Goa Medical College and hospital.
