Kripa Shankar Singh receives threats from builder
Mumbai, Jun 8 (UNI) Former state home minister Kripa Shankar Singh claims to have received threats of dire consequences from a local builder for objecting to some construction activities at Vile Parle here.
Mr Singh had a heated discussion with the builder Anil Agarwal on the issue of constructing a wall that was causing inconvenience to local residents.
Mr Singh, while talking to UNI, said being a local MLA, he had requested the builder to stop construction of the wall. Instead of stoping the work, Agarwal allegedly threatened him, Mr Singh said.
Vile Parle police has registered an offence under section 506 (II) and 336 of the Indian Panel Code (IPC) in this regard. Agarwal was not available for his comments.
