ING Vysya appoints Santosh Desai as Director
Bangalore, Jun 8 (UNI) ING Vysya Bank today appointed Mr Santosh Ramesh Desai as a Director on its board.
Mr Desai, presently the MD and CEO of Future Brands Ltd, had an experience of over 21 years in Marketing and Advertising and was responsible for building many well-known brands in India, according to a release here.
Bank Chairman K R Ramamoorthy said ''the bank has seen strong growth in performance over the last two years and we are looking to continue the progress. We are delighted to have the experience and knowledge of Mr Desai on the board to support and guide our marketing efforts.'' The appintment was also in line with the recommendations of the Dr Ganguly Committee for improving Corporate Governance.
