Indian woman dies after cylinder explodes
Dubai, Jun 8 (UNI) An Indian woman was killed and her husband injured, when a LPG cylinder exploded in Bahrain.
Omrana Shahid (25), succumbed to her injuries, in Salmaniya Medical Complex, after sustaining more than 90 per cent burns, while her husband Shahid Parvez, who tried to save her, suffered burn injuries on his leg and arm, the Gulf Daily News said.
Their one-year-old son escaped unhurt. All the three were trapped in their house as the main door got jammed. Civil defence officials said the blast which occured on Friday was caused by a leakage in the cylinder and warned the residents to check for the same.
