Former IAS officer passes away

Chandigarh, Jun 8 (UNI) Formerv IAS officer, Mr V P Dubey,breathed his last at Government Medical College and Hospital here after a brief illness.

Mr Dubey (75_ leaves behind his wife, two daughters and a son.

He was the elder brother of Mr A K Dubey IAS , Punjab State Election Commissioner.

Cremation of Mr Dubey will take place tomorrow at the Sector-25, cremation ground here.

Mr Dubey remained Punjab Joint Secretary Home and also served on various important posts in the state. He also worked as Registrar, PAU Ludhiana and also served as member PPSC Patiala.
