5 labourers, including 2 women killed in wall collapse

Panaji, Jun 8 (UNI) Five construction labourers, including two women, were today crushed to death and five others sustained injuries when a retaining wall collapsed at Shantinagar in Porvorim of North Goa.

The victims were sleeping by the side of the wall, when the accident occurred following heavy downpour since yesterday with the onset of monsoon, police said.

The injured were rushed to various hospitals, police added.
