Three held for killing promoter
Kolkata, Jun 7 (UNI) Police have arrested three miscreants for their alleged involvement in killing a promoter-cum-contractor of Naregbazar area in the northern fringe.
Chhotka Halder died last night when the miscreants fired at him from close range, police said.
Later a mob attacked the house of one of the alleged killers.
Police reinforcement was rushed to the area to bring the situation under control.
The arrested were sent to the Barrackpore court, police said.
