Soldiers body recovered after 5 months in Kashmir

Srinagar, June 7 (UNI) The Body of a soldier buried under a snow avalanche in January this year in north Kashmir was recovered, official sources said today.

They said Kiran Kumar of Marhatha Light Infantry was buried under a huge avalanche in Rajputy Tekri on January 9 following heaviest snowfall in 20 years.

Despite a number of attempts the body could not be recovered because of 15 feet snow fall.
