'Save Petrol' rally to begin from on June 8

Mumbai, Jun 7: The Atomic Energy Colony Residents Association (AECRA) has organised a ''Save Petrol -- Save Environment'' rally tomorrow from Chembur to Vashi in eastern suburb.

AECRA president Joseph Amal Nathan said the rally would start from Department of Atomic Energy quarters at Chembur to Vashi station. The participants, especially children between the ages of five and thirteen, will cover the distance on roller skates and bicycles and will spread awareness about petroleum conservation and environment protection en route.

At the destination, a quiz on ''Save Petrol - Save Environment'' would be held for the children and prizes awarded.
