Lightning kills one

Barrackpore, Jun 7 (UNI) A 40-year old man was killed when he was struck by lightning at Ichhapur East Land in North 24 Pargnans district, police today said.

Chittaranja Debnath was returning home last night when he was struck by lightning.

Neighbours later found his charred body near a pond.

Police had sent the body for post-mortem.
