Kate Beckinsale dismisses Posh's 'grumpy' image

Washington, Jun 7 : English actress Kate Beckinsale has defended her pal Victoria Beckham, after the latter was called "grumpy."

Beckinsale reassured people that the opposite applied to Posh, insisting that she was actually "a hoot".

The Van Helsing star had met Posh through mutual friend Eva Longoria Parker, and she has laid claim that the public's perception of the former Spice Girl as a non-smiling curmudgeon couldn't be further from the truth.

"Just recently I've been seeing a lot of Victoria (Beckham). Victoria is hilarious. That's the thing I like about her most. She's a hoot," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

"She is also a very normal girl. We have a good laugh and it's great when suddenly people get your jokes and reference points," she added.
