BJP not casteist: Ramlal

Bhopal, Jun 7 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party General Secretary Ramlal today claimed that the BJP was the sole Indian political party that did not have an image of indulging in casteist politics and the BJP was also close to the poor.

''We care for castes but the party's policies and style are not casteist,'' he said at a meeting of BJP MPs and MLAs at the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's residence.

Accusing rival parties of indulging in casteist politics, Mr Ramlal added that the common man was being disillusioned with them.
