'Angelique' wins K N Guruswamy Memorial Cup

Bangalore, June 7 (UNI) Rank outsider 'Angelique' brilliantly ridden by Jockey Suraj Narredu won the K N Guruswamy Memorial Cup, the main event of the races held here today.

The winner is owned by Dr and Mrs Vijay Mallya and trained by J S Dhariwal.

Trainer Darius Byramji and Jockey Suraj Narredu had scored a double and treble respectively. Four favourites obliged punters in a long card of nine events.
