17 children fall ill after having ice-cream
Sitapur, Jun 7 (UNI) As many as 17 children fell ill after consuming ice-cream in Ataria area of the district today.
The incident came to the fore in Akbarpur Rehvan, Gajodharpur and Bighaiya villages, where health of the children deteriorated soon after consuming the ice-cream, Deputy District Magistrate Mansharam said.
Eleven of them were admitted to community health centre, while the remaining were being treated at a hospital in Ataria, he added.
Meawnhile, the sample of the ice-cream has been sent to the food-inspector.
