YMCA election postponed on High Court orders

New Delhi, Jun 6 (UNI) Election to the National Council of YMCAs of India has been postponed from June 7 to August 2.

The decision to postpone the election follows the recent High Court order, according to a YMCA release.

The postponement and adjournment of the 32nd triennial convention by eight weeks has been necessitated as the HC had ruled that all orders and directions given by suspended national secretaries T Thomas and P J Oommen would be null and void.
