Warrant against 11 PMCH doctors

Patna, Jun 6 (UNI) A local court today issued warrants of arrest against eleven doctors of Patna Medical Collage and Hospital(PMCH) in separate cases, including the attack on photo journalists at the hospital premises, when they were taking photograps of patients yesterday.

Chief Judicial Magistrate(CJM) Raghavendra Kumar Singh issued the warrants of arrest against six junior doctors for their involvement in murderous attack on photo journalists of local dailies on Thursday.

The doctors, enraged over the taking photographs of the patients admitted in the hospital, had allegedly thrashed the photo journalists, injuring some of them seriously.

In a separate case, the court issued warrants of arrest against five doctors for their alleged negligence during treatment of a patient, who had succumbed to the illness in the hospital on May 22, 2008.

Earlier, FIRs were lodged against the accused at Pirbahor police station.
