PM Gilani and not Musharraf to visit Turkey

Lahore, Jun 6: Though Pakistan's foreign office has maintained a silence on it, in a latest development, perhaps signifying 'growth of democracy' in the country, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani would visit Ankara instead of President Pervez Musharraf, who has reportedly dropped his scheduled state visit to Turkey.

On the agenda were important tripartite talks involving Afghanistan, Pakistan and Turkey, in which the host nation will play the mediator, added the paper.
