Metso unit forms JV with EPT Engg

New Delhi, June 6 (UNI) Metso today said its unit will form a joint venture company with EPT Engineering Services Pvt Ltd with a view to strengthen its engineering capabilities in the country.

Metso Power will own 51 per cent stake in the company-- Metso Power India Pvt Ltd, which will start operating by the next month, the company said in a statement.

The new company will support Metso's growth strategy by providing engineering services primarily to Metso Power's global business operations and gradually to other units.

EPT Engineering Services, one of Metso Power's biggest global engineering subcontractors, has extensive engineering know-how both in power and recovery boilers as well as in evaporators.
