Madrasas being wrongly blamed: Maulana Kasmi

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Jun 6 (UNI) Deoband Maulana Mohammed Salim Kasmi today said attempts were being made to ''target'' the Madrasas of the country on ''false allegations''.

Speaking at the inauguration of a Madrasa at Harsul, Maulana Salim Kasmi said Madrasas, which offer teachings of honesty and truth, should not be deterred by such things and continue their noble task of disseminating knowledge, as it was their responsibility to spread the teachings of Islam.

He said, ''As per the teachings of Islam, it is mandatory to follow the path of Prophets. Those people who are away from Islam are searching peace, prosperity and satisfaction. So, it is necessary to take Islam to them to provide them peace and satisfaction.'' UNI XR RN GL PM1444
