LKPPL bags Pollution Control Board's award

Hyderabad, June 6 (UNI) Lanco Kondapalli Power Private Ltd (LKPPL) has bagged the Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board's award for excellence in cleaner production technologies and adoption of climate change mitigation measures.

The award was received by company COO Rakesh Gupta on the occasion of the World Environment Day yesterday.

LKPPL, which owned and operated 368.144 MW gas-based Dual Fuel Combined Cycle Power Plant at Kondapalli IDA in Krishna district, had won various awards for its endeavour to generate cleaner power and help in reduction of green house emission gases, a company release here said.
