Detonators seized near Somarasampet, TN

Tiruchirapalli, Jun 6: Police seized 410 electric and 271 ordinary detonators, 11 gelatin sticks, 60 metre fuse wire and 25 kg of ammonium sulphate from a house at Nedumalai near suburban Somarasampet here yesterday.

Police said the explosives, meant for quarry work, were stocked without a valid licence. A search was on for Manikandan in this connection.
