Congress flays BJP for using bulls in fuel-hike protest

Indore, Jun 6 (UNI) A case was registered today against Bharatiya Janata Party former President M Venkaiah Naidu for using bullock-cart to stage protest against the fuel price hike here under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act.

Congress Corporator Rajendra Kuwal lodged a complaint that several persons boarded the bullock-cart, which was an atrocity to the bulls. The animals were whipped to move yesterday.

Besides Mr Naidu, MP Sumitra Mahajan, Mahila Morcha President Kiran Maheshwari and other leaders were on the cart.
