Cong postpones Muktsar, Tarn Taran rallies

Chandigarh, June 6 (UNI) Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) has postponed the protest rallies scheduled for June 10 at Muktsar and June 14 at Tarn Taran in view of the elections to the Municipal Councils scheduled for June 30.

According to PPCC general secretary Raj Pal Singh the new dates for these rallies would be announced after the elections.

He said however the rally at Doraha in Ludhiana district will be held as per schedule on June 17.
