Pondy Ministers deny differences with CM

Puducherry,Jun 5 (UNI) Puducherry Industries Minister V Vaithilingam, Education Minister M O H F Shajahan and Health Minister E Valsaraj today denied any difference of opinion with the Chief Minister and said they were working in a cordial manner.

Addressing the press jointly here, they said Madras High Court had dismissed the land grabbing case against Mr Shajahan yesterday.

Cases were foisted against two Ministers who faced them patiently without even informing the party high command, they claimed.

The Ministers said law and order situation in Puducherry was causing concern due to which the Lt Governor had adviced necessary action to maintain law and order.

The administration should set up special teams for investigation of different cases. The allocation for all departments were less by ten to 15 per cent this year and the Chief Minister had assured to provide funds, they said.
