One panch kills another over electing Sarpanch
Patiala, Jun 5 (UNI) The newly-elected panch of village Kishangarh in this district near Nabha was allegedly killed by another panch due to rivalry over the election of sarpanch.
Charan Singh, allegedly having leanings towards the Congress, was allegedly shot dead by Akali follower Jagtar Singh.
Two sons of Charan Singh -- Gurmel Singh and Chamkaur Singh -- and another person were also injured in the firing, police said.
Police has registered the case and started the investigation.
